The City of Olomouc – The Right Location for Strategic Services and Other Business Process Operations
The City of Olomouc attracts investors focused primarily on strategic services thanks to the highly skilled local workforce and several projects of state-of-the-art, top-quality office spaces.

In terms of the workforce, the City of Olomouc and its vicinity are renowned for relatively high numbers of secondary school graduates in fields such as economics and administration while, on the other hand, demand for ‘office jobs’ has long been higher than offer from local companies. In addition, the City boasts remarkably large numbers of graduates and students with excellent language skills and, consequently, is the right place for investors in shared business centres as well as for other companies focused on the Business Process Operations.
Several high-grade office complexes for reasonable prices are currently available in Olomouc – some of them newly built, some located in reconverted premises, with others in a pipeline. All of them are located in the immediate neighbourhood of the historical downtown and easily accessible by public transport or by car via the motorway R35 from Brno and Ostrava.
CPI City Center Olomouc – offices for rent
Opened in 2013, the CPI City Center Olomouc the state-of-the-art multifunctional complex is situated close to the railway station. It consists of the four-star Clarion Hotel and two adjacent buildings that house office space and shops. They are connected with a large congress centre for up to 1,400 people located inside the block. Most offices are currently used by Raiffeisenbank.

Not far from the above complex, a new office centre will be erected on a vacant plot at Kosmonautů Street crossroads. Called ‘Nová Envelopa’, the premises will consist of two well-designed six-storey buildings of class ‘A’ office spaces for sale or rent. The ‘Nová Envelopa’ complex will be located very close to the currently developed ‘Šantovka’ district.
The new City district of Šantovka has been gradually developed on the former premises of the abandoned MILO company. The ‘Šantovka’ shopping mall was completed in the autumn of 2013, designed by the renowned London-based Benoy design studio. The ‘Šantovka’ residential area will be erected as part of the stage 2 and the office park should follow as the stage 3. Co-financed by the Switzerland Grants, a new tramline track that runs from the City centre to its southern districts and intersects the area was recently completed.
The BEA Centrum is a modern office centre at Kosmonautů Street. Its several buildings including a 18-storey ‘tower’ offer state-of-the-art office spaces for rent, particularly suitable for accelerating businesses, notably small and medium sized innovation-oriented enterprises focused on the project management, research and development, technology transfer, and business innovation.
Completed in May 2014, the Silo Tower Olomouc is a remarkably designed office centre located near the downtown. The glass-paned offices built into a former silo offer a special view of the City centre.
Prestigious offices and shops can be established in the historical Salm Palace, a recently completely reconstructed building in the very centre of the City, on the Upper Square (Horní náměstí).
