Město pomůže cestovnímu ruchu milionem korun
Historický vlak, dny partnerských měst, provoz muzeí či třeba vyhlídková terasa s dalekohledem na historický střed města – také to jsou aktivity, které získají v letošním roce grantovou podporu z městského rozpočtu.
Celkově je mezi dvaadvacet žadatelů zatím rozdělen téměř milion korun, v rezervě zůstává ještě částka 113 tisíc korun. Žadatelů bylo přitom původně více než dvakrát tolik. Těmito granty rada doplňuje cílenou podporu cestovnímu ruchu, které se velkým projektům, jako jsou Veteran Arena, Olomoucké barokní slavnosti a zpřístupnění kostelů s průvodcovskou službou dostalo přímo z městského rozpočtu.
Velkou akcí, na niž město výrazně přispěje, je například Noc kostelů. Částka 76 tisíc, mimochodem vyšší o 26 tisíc než vloni, přispěje k tomu, že se během Noci kostelů veřejnost bude moci podívat na řadu sakrálních prostor, která jsou jinak běžně nepřístupná. Stejnou částku dostane i občanské sdružení Muzeum olomoucké pevnosti na celoroční provoz a fungování areálu Korunní pevnůstky. Ojedinělá secesní památka, slavná vila Primavesi, bude letos otevřena veřejnosti i díky grantu 50 tisíc korun, který přispěje k uspořádání dvanácti autorských výstav a otevření v době letních prázdnin.
„Část z grantové podpory vybrala kulturní komise také na projekty některých olomouckých hotelů. Propagace města je společným cílem radnice i poskytovatelů ubytovacích služeb, proto považujeme určitou synergii v tomto směru za přirozenou,“ vysvětlil náměstek primátora Jan Holpuch. Podpory se tak dočká například záměr vedení hotelu Flora zřídit v desátém patře na terase vyhlídkové místo s dalekohledem pro pozorování panoramatu historického centra, půjčovna jízdních kol v hotelu Hesperia a pořízení reklamních letáků a stojanů hotelu Arigone, které budu rozmístěny v různých obchodních centrech.
